Flat calm today and we had a great crew onboard.  We loaded up on mack’s and hit the tuna grounds.  Not much happening on that front despite the hot bite from the past few days….oh well, that’s what you get this time of year.  Big fish push through then move on…we had to switch up our approach.  We were only able to scratch up a few bass mid-morning/early afternoon, but we landed on a nice school of fish on one of our spots close to home.  For the last few hours we trolled livies over a small boulder field that produced at least one hit on every pass.  Bass were smashing bait hard on the surface, can’t beat it.  We’ll be back for more!  Thanks to Nick, Dave and Roger for a great trip.
