The day started out early on the Hold Fast. We were out at first light loading up on bait, while the guys made the early morning drive up from Rhode Island to meet us in Scituate harbor. We took a quick ride up to Boston Harbor, and got into our spot. I ran the boat alone for this trip, so we fished more at anchor instead of trolling. We were fishing a pretty specific spot, but once we reset the anchor a few times and got in the perfect position we started bending rods. The bite slowed down later in the morning, but then picked back up after the tide switch. All in all it was an awesome day, great weather, plenty of fish and a great crew. Thanks for coming aboard guys, we’ll see you later in the year for some tuna and shark fishing!
