Had Will, Ron, Matt, and Al on board today all the way from upstate NY.  We were on a mission for meat.  We set off at 4:15am and an hour later we dropped our lines.  The first jig of the rod produced a keeper cod and we literally didn’t stop cranking them in until our limit was filled at 11am.  It was lights out fishing.  All nice fat fish.  We probably only had 5 throwbacks the whole day, this is as good as it gets!  With our limit of cod and a few haddock and redfish mixed in, we decided to head in and beat the 95degree heat.  We stopped outside the river and tried for stripers since we had the time, and unfortunately we dropped a nice one, but at the end of the day everyone was happy, exhausted, and overheated.  Thanks guys for a memorable trip, we will hopefully see you back before the end of the season, and if not we will do it again next year!
