Wow, what a day! Nasty, foggy, conditions gave way to sunny, flat calm seas by mid morning. The cod bite was slow but, boy the sharks were hungry. We had sharks circling  from the second we started the slick.  At times multiple sharks were attacking the chum bucket right at the side of the boat!  Pretty cool to hand feed a ten foot long shark.  We burned the guys out battling shark after shark on stand up gear.  The Shimano TLD 50’s are perfect for this type of fishing.  They were big ones too not many pups.  These guys range from 6-10ft and 200-300+ lbs.  By the ride home everyone was exhausted and all the guys caught a few z’s.  After the boat was cleaned up we all met up at the Deck and had some beers.  It was one of those days that you just can’t beat! Thanks Bob for setting the trip up, hope to see you guys back aboard soon.
