Headed out giant hunting today.  We found horse mackerel and whiting with ease and set up for a long day of waiting.  Handful of nice fish were caught over the past two days so we were hopeful.  At about 10 am we had a pod of giant bluefin crashing on the surface about 25 yards from our kite bait, but we had no takers.  These guys were not small fish, 300+ lber’s for sure.  Headed for the barn at about 430pm after a long day of fishing.  These fish will seriously test your patience.  Back at it soon…

Best,

Capt. Mike
