Another great bass trip today.  We left the dock at 4am in search of bait and jumbo bass.  Getting out early really counts on these long, hot, summer days.  Once the sun gets up in the sky the bass tend to get lazy and stop feeding.  You really have to capitalize on your early opportunities, which we did today.  Had a few quality fish in the boat before 7 am and it was a good thing because things really slowed by the middle of the morning.  Biggest on the trip measured 42″ and 25 lbs.  Just can’t beat this fishing…nothing small hits the deck.  Smallest fish on the trip was 34″. Be back out soon.
