Little bit of a gear change for this trip.  Since it was as calm as a lake we decided to make the run out to the bank to get after some shallow water groundfishing.  To say that things were non-stop would be an understatement.  Literally hundreds of fish hit the deck today.  Anywhere we dropped our lines there were fish thick as a rug, haddock, cod, pollock, whiting, sculpin, mackerel, and more.  We limited on haddock and then headed in to pull up a few lobster pots.  It was a cooler filling type of day and there ain’t nothin’ wrong with that!  As another bonus the whales put on a good show today too, breaching humpbacks are all over the southwest corner.  Great day with a great group of guys.  Thanks for coming aboard.
